A photo journal of content created for Après Delight, the coolest CBD intimacy oil on the market.
This is a photo journal showcasing some of my most recent work. I am sharing a series of photos I shot and purposefully exposed for one of the most interesting kickstarters I've witnessed this year: Après Delight - a CBD intimacy oil. Coalition Snow's Jen Gurecki made a bold move and ventured into the world of CBD intimacy oil with a simple goal... women's sexual liberation.
For those who are unfamiliar with Coalition Snow, they are a by women for women's snowsports brand based in Reno, NV who's mission is to empower women on and off the snow. Naturally, I fell in love at first sight. For me - existing in a nearly entirely male and white dominated sport - coming across Coalition Snow was way more than finding a badass pair of skis. Finding Coalition Snow meant finding a community of supportive women and non binary individuals of all colours and backgrounds who love to shred just as much as I do. Being apart of Coalition Snow is being apart of a movement that aims to make more space for women and nonbinary people in snowsports; it's about including everyone on the slopes to make the outdoor world a better one. If it isn't obvious already, I am pretty damn stoked about everything they are doing, which is why I jumped at the chance to help create content for their latest and coolest venture, Après Delight.
Après Delight puts an emphasis on what almost no other in the pleasure industry does - it focuses on women.* This is an intimacy oil that specifically targets women and feels no need to aim marketing at men. Why is this so cool? Because AD is recognizing that women not only have - but enjoy sex too. If you look at most of the industry - from condoms, to pornography, to intimacy oil (aka lube) - women are almost always an after thought, an object and certainly not the subject of pleasure. Après Delight focuses on helping women enjoy sex more. They choose to use CBD oil as a base as it specifically helps with reducing pain and increasing blood flow. AD is revolutionary simply because they don't shy away from the fact that many women suffer from pain and discomfort during sex and are left with little or no answers. Furthermore, that these problems are incredibly common, continuously stigmatized and almost always solvable.
So then, how can you get your hands on this amazing product, and how can you support Après Delight? Follow their journey, share their content and just appreciate what they are doing for women - it's that simple.
For this project I found inspiration in my everyday environment: the outdoors. When I went out to shoot I thought about the concept of Après (ski) Delight. To me, the concept is about exposure, freedom, romance, optimism and organic emotions. To capture these concepts in my photography, I looked to the mountains, trees and snow that surround me for inspiration and this is what I came up with...
